Ruma Chaudhuri - Mind As A Bird

With the wings birds fly away
Again they come home
At the end of the day
They go near the seas or the oceans
Or the forests or on the mountains
In search of food for them and for kids
When mother would come and feed.


I also not keep myself in me.
Like a bird it flew away to see
Where Mountains above
Touched the blue sky
Where the river has hidden herself in a forest
With a great shy.

I can see the sunrises on the Islands
And the beauty of the deep blue oceans.

So my mind always flies from me
And it is always full of glee.
