Rules for caregivers

Caregivers should be fully vaccinated

Wear a mask at all times when inside a house with a COVID-19 patient

Use only triple layer or N-95 masks

Caregivers should remain in separate rooms and avoid direct contact with patient

Avoid direct contact with personal item of patient and wear gloves

Help the person who is sick follow their doctor’s instructions for care and medicine.

Make sure the person who is sick drinks a lot of fluids and rests.

Limit contact between the person who is sick and their pet(s)

Have their doctor’s phone number on hand. For medical emergencies, call 911
