RTKAL - Sleng Teng

Birmingham grime native, RTKAL, has been milling around the music scene for a couple of years, working hard on a number of mixtapes and tirelessly creating energy-infused vibes in raves and shows. In recent times, he’s performed with OGz front man, P Money, creating a renewed hype around the previously described dead grime scene.

Birmingham's Rtkal rides the digital reggae blueprint riddim Sleng Teng, created by King Jammy and Wayne Smith back in 1985, and re-works it with his 2012 swagger. It's lifted off his forthcoming mixtape '48 Hours', and you can download the track here...
