Can’t you see the traps he’s laid?
In the shows you watch and games you’ve played?
The celebrities upon whom we all obsess,
An entire World filled with emptiness.

Whoa the garbage on TV,
Designed to confuse, can’t you see?
Lies, violence, sex and deceit,
All aimed for your faiths defeat.

Be careful of what it is you watch,
It will take your spirit down a notch,
And of the popular music that you hear,
Will play to all of your doubts and fear.

The Lords Word is loud and clear,
A chart for which your boat to steer,
Through shoals and shallows, you’ll be safe,
All you need is to have some faith.

Listen to his every word,
The sweetest story ever heard,
Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John,
Will never, ever steer you wrong!

When I think of the things that I’ve done,
From the light, I’ve would have run,
That is till I read John three sixteen,
The most wonderful words I’ve ever seen!

For he so loved us, he gave up his Son,
It was our cross, he died upon,
No matter what your sin or transgression,
Jesus is your path to salvation!

Jesus was mocked and beat just for me,
How on Earth could that be?
He knew not what I was about,
Yet his faith in me was devout.

He took on all of my sins, and debt,
For God’s love did he accept,
The punishment that I deserved,
The penance, he selflessly served!

But it’s not enough to say you’re saved,
And to be mostly well behaved,
You must abandon the Worlds way,
And carry his cross each and every day!

Do not fear the work of Satan,
Or of the souls that he has taken,
For if you are true and love the Lord,
Satan cannot add you to his hoard.
