I was under the impression,
That you were loving me.......
Wasn't I just up your street?
Wasn't I the canary of your bougainvillaea?
Wasn't I the haddock of your pacific?
Wasn't I the sky of your MidSummer eve?
I was the peahen danced
for your Monsoon rain of Love......
I was the soft breeze,
That always whispered your name....
On the leave of your woods
But you never heard my song
Nor you sang a song for me.....
And you never inflamed,
By the taste of my root beer.....
All I know this much,
That I looked haggard,
tolerating all my pains
after my sleepless nights.....
Wasn't I the better half of your heart?
Or was I the bitter whole of your life?
