Rose Fischers honest, simple song writing technique reflects the rural and urban landscapes shes grown in.

A recent addition to Aucklands music scene, her singer / songwriter style combines folk and alternative country with a shade of blues.

Raised on a Taranaki dairy farm, Roses earliest musical influences were her parents country record collection.

But when she left the green pastures of home, the classically trained pianist, learnt guitar and developed musically in both Wellington and Ireland.

Folk and Celtic fragrances have come to underpin her unpretentious sound.

Rather than dwelling on the dark and emotive for inspiration, Roses lyrics also combine her Irish and rural roots, as she spins embellished yarns based on ordinary lives
