Rose Falcone - WHY NOT?

He walks by the house
in all its grandeur
every day.
The sign outside
reads “Why Not? ”

He walks by the “Why Not? ” house
and begins to think
'Why not? '
Something is missing,
the void is immense

It's like an old western,
ever beseeching.
The trail is rough,
yet he prevails,
continues the quest.

The “Why Not? ” house speaks,
'Why not? '
Who is missing?
All is not lost,
the answer lays waiting

Arduously searching
a long lost love.
Never lost
there for the taking.
Find me my love.

Life’s journey is wondrous,
an adventure then some.
We love and we lose
To find it again.
Why not?
