Ros Venn - Poem

I decided on my design for my leaving cert project. It was a rustic cabinet.
I drew it on a sheet then worked from the measurements. I cut a big sheet of plywood on the saw.
Marked in out the two side pieces then cut them out of the sheet of plywood.
From that I made the housed joints and the half stopped housed joint.
I made the shelves.
I put glue on the joints and then put the shelves in it. I then used clamps to hold it together. I left it overnight.
I made the panels for the front and the top panel. I put the panels on the front and the top panel.
I then made the design for the top of my project. Then I put on the top of my Rustic cabinet.
I then bought the panels for the back and cut them into shape. I then put them on the back using panel pins.
I then made the door for my project. I made the two side pieces followed by the top and the bottom. From the panels I had leftover I made the middle of the door.
I then put the hinges on my project.
I then varnished my project. I used a see through varnish. I gave it two coats of varnish.
I then put the handle on the door.
