Ronit Sircar - The pure coffin

She was sitting beneath a tree
It was snowing incessantly
A thin, sick, puny looking girl
Was watching me constantly

There was no one with her
She was all alone in this world
There was no blanket to cover
When the strong cold winds hurled

I was sitting near the window sill all alone
Inspite the jamboree in my house
I couldn’t do anything for her
Coz everyone was busy with my brother’s spouse

All through the night I kept thinking of her
As morning dawned, I rushed to see her
God has her the best
Snow was her coffin where she could rest..
