whose that come knocking at my front door
the irs or maybe it could be the fuzz
boy i get a kick, boy i get a buzz

heard it before, think i just touch some old wood
the streets are paved in gold if you look good and hard
but you find no corruption in my back yard

went away on a break just to get some more sun
found a little brown package that makes sure i have fun
big flashy lights and the sound of machines
no one we know is going to spill all the beans

my friends say hello what are you doing now,
i say fine every day, i just milk my cash cow
got plenty of money and toys in the house
we all as quiet as the deaf blind mouse

the tax man say heh you living well beyond you means
i say no man, its what my daddy left me in his old blue jeans
he says i want a return from you well in the post
and that includes your daddy even if he's a ghost

the country's hit rock bottom and market is black
all i want to do is lay in the sack
no reason for a job as the money is easy
i'm doing nothing wrong that possibly be sleazy
