Romney gets Bush backing
Description
Mitt Romney has a commanding lead in the race for the U.S. Republican presidential nomination.
Now former President George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara have joined the line of establishment figures to give him their backing.
SOUNDBITE: FORMER U.S. PRESIDENT GEORGE H.W. BUSH SAYING (English):
"I do think it's time for the party to get behind Governor Romney and...she was reminding me, Kenny Rogers sang his 'time to hold 'em, time to fold 'em. Well I think it's time for people to get behind this good man and some of them waged a very good fight."
Romney has weathered several gaffes during the campaign.
Despite that he's about half-way to getting the 1, 144 party delegates needed to clinch the nomination.
