Rommel Laride - Making The Right Plays

Dropped down my sword and the doors are now closed,
crumbled to my knees yet tried to calm down,
a spell cast upon me knew i was cursed,
all the pillars fell can’t help but to frown.

I gone on my days kept myself busy,
a remnant still remains t’was always there,
urging myself to be in a hurry,
yet my thoughts have gone to you I still care.

It is me again alone in the dark,
the phrases you spoke words that broke my heart,
it dug into my core and left a mark,
the words i spoke it lead us far apart,
i know t’was my fault that i push too much,
self-centered i forgot to pull the clutch.
