Román Alberto González Luna (June 17, 1987), best known as Román González, is a Nicaraguan professional boxer. He is the current WBC and The Ring magazine flyweight champion, as well as a former WBA light flyweight and WBA minimumweight champion, respectively. Along with his idol and former mentor, Nicaraguan legend Alexis Arguello, González is a three-weight world champion, with both being only two in Nicaragua's history. González is currently ranked as the best pound for pound fighter in the world by The Ring and ESPN.
