Robert is not dealing with Aaron's absence, and the break up of their marriage, well and decides to drink his sorrows away in the Woolpack, only he ends up lashing out at Chrissie and Rebecca and an angry Victoria throws him out. Victoria follows him home to The Mill, were Robert in his drunken state falls down the steel spiral staircase and is taken to hospital by the least expected person.
