Robots plot quake damage in Amatrice

Italian firefighters are using drones and robots in quake-destroyed buildings in central Italy, to avoid the need for emergency crews to go into unstable buildings.

Last month’s quake in a mountainous, central region claimed nearly 300 lives, injured hundreds of people and left thousands of residents homeless when several towns and hamlets were devastated.
