Robots Created To Act Like Termites
Description
Engineers at Harvard have revealed their latest study on termites by creating robots that mimic the insects. The small creations work together to build in a team effort.
Termites are known to build very complicated mounds of soil with tunnels and chambers. They are smart and now science is paying attention. The study was revealed at the American Association of the Advancement of Science and it could predict a bright future.
The possibilities are endless; Imagine being able to send robots to grief stricken areas, to rebuild homes and shelters. Humans may no longer have to do the dangerous lifting.
