Ambers of the road taking you home
To make love-
In the bed next to your quieted sisters,
And down the little meanders
Where your children resonate everyday:
Echoing as if brandy:
And I cannot say this is a poem,
But another broken wing on a bird that
Pretends to be beautiful,
Just hoping to draw the attention
Of the airplanes,
As they steal all of the prettiest sororities
And make a picnic with them in the clouds.
