Always alone
Never feeling at home
Life has been a constant struggle for me
Between who I am and who I want to be
As the end draws nearer
I feel my head becoming clearer
And like a burst of light
You came charging through the night
To save me in my darkest hour
When my life had become bitter and sour

Now I finally feel complete
Like a starving man who got to eat
You cared for me and my health
Even when I didn't care about myself
You pulled me away from the darkness
And helped me to cope with the harshness
Before you came, my life was full of secrets
Tainted by lies, broken promises, and regrets
But if I died tomorrow, my only regret would be
That I can never express how much you mean to me
