Robert Evans at 2012 Rising Stars Gala

Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, JJ Snyder, were invited to come out and cover the 2012 Rising Stars Gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles (BBBSLA).

At the event BBBSLA honored outstanding members of the Los Angeles community who inspire and portray positive role models for young people. Among those recognized were Sumner M. Redstone, Executive Chairman of Viacom and CBS Corporation, who received the Walt Disney Man of the Year Award; Dana Walden, Chairman of Twentieth Century Fox Television, received the Sherry Lansing Award; Roshon Fegan, actor, musical artist and producer, received the Rising Star Award; and long-time BBBSLA Guild member Kim Vamos was honored with the Trailblazer Award. There were special performances by Emmy and Golden Globe nominated singer/actor Lea Michele, Amber Riley and Darren Criss, from the award-winning television show GLEE.
