Did you miss me
While I was gone?
We’re you celebrating
With dance and song?
Did you really think
I’d be that long?
If you did,
Boy were you wrong!
For a bug must do what’s best,
And to everyone be a pest!
So I tell you this because -
Buzz Buzz!
In twenty two hours
Or maybe four,
No one had even
Knocked at my door.
Unless you count Vicki
Who is our friend.
She left to go home again.
Then there was a boy
Selling magazines,
The No Trespassing sign
Was faded clean.
Hanging there a spider web,
Please don’t let it touch your head!
Watch out for that bumble bee,
Buzz Buzz, it’s me!

My brother is a caterpillar,
He got run over by the farmer’s tiller.
It took off maybe fifty legs
But now he’s good at mumbly peg!
He still thinks that I’m a jerk,
And I agree when it comes to work!
He doesn’t like it when I laugh,
When I see him step in horse crap!
They may whinny when he walks by
Afraid of the whip that he will try
To smack them on their behinds,
Often they are seen to cry.
I am just kidding about the horse,
It is my job of course, of course!
If you don’t like it well that’s because,
Buzz Buzz!
