Cane cuts across a braid of bamboo,
Blades unsheathe match no machete
Threads of sweet sap strip naked,
Tantalize taste buds in rainbow colours
Crush delight -
Mills, mold distant lands in treacle
Marbles pitch, crystal on a table
Melt with a swirl in China like a
Doting lover stuck in a world of dreams
Hoping his bed will press a special juice.
