Miami-Fort Lauderdale musician Robert Bidney is a singer-songwriter who writes songs about life and love, but also draws inspiration from issues that people all over the world face on a daily basis. Says Bidney: "Poverty comes in all shapes and sizes. My song "Pill for Poverty" speaks to the millions worldwide who struggle valiantly to overcome circumstances beyond their control."

Bidney has been writing songs for as long as he can remember, and not just the songs he performs live on stage. He also spent a few years writing radio and TV advertising jingles for companies including The Sports Authority, Levitz Furniture and Swim 'n Sport Shops to name a few. As an ASCAP writer, Bidney has enjoyed seeing a number of artists record his songs in the country, pop, rock and gospel categories. He also wrote the stage production "SOUTH BEACH -- The Musical," which had a formal reading in Miami and is currently looking for a producer. Today Bidney continues to remain a fixture in South Florida venues from Miami to Palm Beach.
