Rob Hyden - WINNING THE BATTLE

The battle was fought from the moment I woke.
My brain is being tested but something is broke.
The panic is rising and travels straight to my brain.
It takes over my thoughts and causes great pain.
With all the skills needed and the training in hand.
I will challenge my fears and make a great stand.
I have fought this battle many times in the past.
If I fight back again then I know it won’t last.
My panic is strong and puts up a good fight.
I restrain all my fears and I make it alright.
This is my fear, my panic, my constant delusion.
It causes much stress and an endless confusion.
I will work to control it and keep it confined.
Yet it’s not up to me, it’s all in my mind.
