More than a week has passed since the Court of Appeal ruled that former Chief Magistrate Marcia Ayers-Caesar was forced out of office and her resignation illegally obtained.

However, her attorneys led by Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj says while the JLSC has 21 days to appeal that decision, none has come yet.

In a press conference called today by Mr Maharaj, he says if it is appealed, he will seek to have the matter expedited before the judicial committee of the privy council so that a final determination could be made within months.
