RISSA FORMICA - Unstoppable.

The rough bark and the bright moon
Shows us the world and our mood.

Run. That all I have to do-run.
Never stop for there is a gun.
Ducking between the trees I hear the shots.
My vision is blurring for I see spots.

I will not stop.
For I am unstoppable.
I know nothing is impossible.

I face my attacker.
His eyes are as black as death.
His breathing is silent or..am I deaf?
No I am not because I hear the gun click.
I lock gazes with him and I give him a kick.
He kneels and so I run.
I'm at a dead end-i'm at a cliff.

The water below gives me bliss.
If I were to die I would be happy to die in water.
Glancing back to those eyes I know.
He points the gun as I step back.
Then all I hear is a bang.

Closing my eyes I crouch.
I spot my knife in my boot
Taking it out I raise my eyes to his.. and I shoot.
The knife hits his heart but then I hear him shoot.
Before he does though I jump....
My heart thumps.
The cold water is beautiful.
But I reach towards shore and look at the sunrise.
I realize I am alive...
But most importantly the obstacle in my life I have just faced
Has made me unstoppable because I was saved.
