The Wednesday night of Rising saw electronica pioneer Tim Exile headline a night showcasing the music of our breakthrough Resident Artists – a select roster of talented young musicians aged 18-25 who have progressed through our creative programme, developing their skills and professional experience.

Audio maverick and technical genius Tim Shaw began his musical journey as a classical violinist. His experiments in electronic sounds have since taken him to big stages around the world and landed him an album on Warp Records.

Tim Exile’s more recent shows offer deep improvised techno sounds that are filled with fun and surprising moments.
