Ripple Hits Record High In Value

The cryptocurrency XRP hit a record high on January 5th, 2018.
Offered by Ripple as a liquidity solution, xRapid has jumped in value by more than 1300-percent since December.
It is currently trading at $3.32 per unit.
Chris Larsen, who cofounded Ripple, owes 13-percent of the cryptocurrency's total valuation, for a total of 5.19 billion XRP.
At the digital currency's current exchange rate, that adds up to a net worth of $17.23 billion.
