RIP Stephen Hawking

World-renowned British physicist Stephen Hawking has died at age 76.
Diagnosed with ALS at age 21, doctors gave Hawking only a few years to live.
But he beat the odds, passing away Wednesday morning at his home in Cambridge.
His condition never dampened the icon's intellect and sense of humor.
In fact, he once said "Life would be tragic if it weren't funny."
