Rikuzentakata devastated by tsunami

A Buddhist temple is one of the few buildings left standing after the tsunami surged eight kilometres inland, to the town of Rikuzentakata.

More than 800 bodies have been recovered so far and more than a thousand are still missing in the town of 23,000.

Al Jazeera's Marga Ortigas met with residents there who are slowly rebuilding their lives.
