Description
in May the Mexican state of Puebla passed that is known as the Bullet Law, authorizing police to use extreme force in putting down demonstrations, based on the argument of public interest and safety. The Mexican Senate later declared the law constitutional. But human rights advocates in Mexico charge that authorities throughout the country are attempting to legally limit and marginalize the right to protest.
