A woman took on an active volcano by boarding straight down its slope at sunset.
Kira Safferstein from Boston, USA was doing volcano boarding in Nicaragua as the sky glowed in the background.
The footage shows her speeding down the steep, ash covered surface of the volcano.
The strange sight was captured and put on social media where viewers were transfixed.
One user commented : ‘Wonder how fast you went???’
A second added : ‘I wanna be as cool as you.’
