Rick Elpers - Creative death...

Like this stone in my living room
Cold impenetrable, void of words
Plague my vistas with nothing
Here I must prove viability
So the task far beyond the end
Is given prompting
On the path to be created
Endlessly voraciously grasping
At fleeting glances
Hoping one will stay
But they don't
Even this arduous melange
Tears at my mind searching
For the right words
Taking far too long
So now I must either wait patiently
Or give up.
