I've settled down, bought a house and soon someone calles me dad
I have to walk the dog, go to work and I'm not feeling sad
Lived my life free and done what I wanted done
Reach my goals and now I've settled down
Someone small someone new will carry on my name

A baby has been born,10 Little fingers and 10 little toe's
Sleeping the whole day, crying at night and that's the way it goes
Life is filled with work and with one little smile it's all worth it
For now you are our little one and sometimes our little devil I have to admitt

Your getting bigger, exploring and reaching out for things you think are worth getting
Starting to walk, trying to run and ending with falling
life will always be that way and I'll will always be there to pick you up
As long it's in my power and you want me too I will help you

You'll grow up under my wings, I'll protect and when you feel sad I'm there
I will try to tell you how life works, what life brings and there's nothing to fear
Live your life free and do what you wanted done
