Increasing entropy moves times arrow forward
Not even Maxwell's demon could reverse its course
Starting as an apple falling in an orchard
That mass accelerating defined the force
However debate beheld and math does yield
Newton or Leibniz which calculus you prefer
Faraday and Fourier transform the field
Induction lets electromagntism infer
So the laws become a rhyme of the reason
We find that Carnot can cycle the acclaim
You know you can't win, you know you can't break even,
And of course you know you can't even leave the game
