Wake up little pinecone
The rain has fallen and the air is fresh
And someday you will be a tree
The tallest tree in the land

Wake up and see for yourself
The soil is rich and the land grows under your feet
But most of all, my little pinecone
Expect great things from yourself

Wake up and see for yourself
See how the universe plays in the branches
While mountain glaciers melt in sun

Shake the snow from your beautiful head
Wake up from your peaceful nap and see
How this is your destiny
