richard belis - my apple

my hope is as far as the apple is from the ground,
my hope so far and vague can come from one person,
my love, my inspiration, my hope,
my hope is like a tree with an apple,
until i can reach the apple i can't reach my love,
I have to try to climb the tree i have to get that apple,
if only that apple could dropp that weak branch,
if only i can get one hand on it and grab it with all i have,
in the desire of my love would be with me on that apple picking night,
i have to get that apple no matter how far and how hard,
i'll get it to be with you and only you my love,
that apple will hit the ground one day and i will pick it up,
and i will have you by my side once that apple so high,
is in my hands and i finally have you.....
