A METAPHOR OF STRENGTH

what i have is strong
but it lifts no one

some will say i have
a mirror

for it reflects light
in the dark under my bed

but i doubt it
when i throw it on the floor

it is never broken
it is still strong and whole

what i have is strong
i know this from the start
