Love is dear to those who care
And choose your own paths
Everyone says 'I love you',
But how many really mean it?

Don't play with a heart,
Don't mess with a soul.
The people you end up hurting
Might hurt you right back

Love is dear to those who wait
Wait for love to find them first
Not a silly childhood crush
True love which causes a rush

In your mind and in your heart
You know what love's about
Holding that special one close to you
And simply saying,
'I love you, it's true'.
