When Melusi makes Mapula put on the dress for the Matric dance, he insults the women's handiwork and promises to get her a proper dress. Mapula is humiliated and torn in her loyalties. Bongi receives terrible news. Zinzi has been in a car crash, and Bongi needs to leave for New York immediately.
