Life is a battle, however hard fought, to be lost..
In the end all we gain is a pained and empty heart,
devoid of any feelings.
For long lost will be the joy over small things, the silent pain and the warmth of love..

I already foresee my end, where I lay downtrodden,
lost in despair..

It was never a fair fight,
For too many were the hurdles to overcome, too hard was the pain to bear..
With neither friends nor family on my side
Here I lay all alone,
Defeated, lost and forgotten..
