The TV Movie left more questions than answers and one of the more intriguing questions was “Why was the Master put on trial by the Daleks, for the Timelords?” and various ret-con addicts over the years came to the conclusion that it was done as a peacemaker between the two races…as absurd as that sounds its probably the best answer we ever got, so I thought I would incorporate that into the narrative, Also it was fun to see Anthony Ainley get exterminated because out of all the Master’s he was the one who cheated death the most in the show thus it makes sense that he would survive an extermination.
