Renault cuts back in Slovenia

French carmaker Renault is to cut its Slovenian workforce by some 13% and reduce production due to shrinking European sales.

The Revoz unit is Slovenia's biggest exporter, and makes Twingo, Clio and Wind models.

Employment will however pick up again next year when Slovenia will start producing two new models, the fruit of Renault's partnership with Nissan and Daimler.
