To mark International Overdose Awareness Day, Stringr spoke with Stephanie Wittels Wach, who shares the moving and inspiring story of her brother Harris Wittels, a producer, writer and comedian best known for his work on Master of None, The Sarah Silverman Show and Parks and Recreation. Harris Wittels died aged 30 in 2015 from an accidental heroin overdose. Now his sister has sought to raise awareness and understanding of addiction issues- launching the podcast Last Day, which has brought a discussion of these issues to millions of listeners. Wittels Wach is both funny and emotional as she shares her family's story.
