Home and Away, Past and Present: Remembering 8.8.88 23 years on.

Events commemorating the anniversary of the 1988 uprisings in Burma have been held across the world. In Rangoon, a tribute led by opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi drew crowds of people to Tar Du monastery where prayers were held. And in Thailand people gathered to remember the victims of the past and learn how they can help with the future.
