Remaining Chinese miners rescued

All miners have been successfully rescued from a coal mine in central China Saturday (November 5) with the help of rescuers, state media reported.
Four people were killed in the mining accident that occurred in Henan province two days ago (November 3).
State television broadcast the rescue efforts live, showing video of emergency workers rushing out of the mine's elevator while carrying survivors on stretchers.
Other miners appeared to be in good condition, shaking hands with politicians and waving to the crowd of journalists and policemen as they emerged.
The accident was caused by a "rock burst" -- a spontaneous explosion of rocks common in mines-- with 75 miners underground at the time.
China's mines are the deadliest in the world, due to lax safety standards and a rush to feed demand from a robust economy.
