Relay - Contactor with push button ON OFF control

As requested by some of my subscribers I visualize the ON - OFF switching arrangement with a relay / contactor in this video.

An old streetlight contactor / relay was used in this example with the 3 phase contacts bridged for single phase to allow for a higher current loading under the highly inductive ballasted street light loads.

Schematics are attached. It is important that the push buttons have their own spare trigger contact, to avoid the buttons carrying the load current at switch on and burning out the buttons.
