'Registered as voters without their knowledge'

DAP's Subang Jaya assemblyperson Hannah Yeoh revealed that there was a spike increase of around 15,000 voters in her constituency for the last four years.

She said that during her recently house-to-house visit at SS 18, there are two residents who were registered as new voters without their knowledge.

She added that she received an e-mail from a student who is studying abroad, also complained that she had been registered as a voter without her and her parents knowledge.

Hence, Yeoh urged all the overseas Malaysians who will not come back during the general elections, to inform their respective parliamentarian and state assemblyperson, so that they will be aware during the polling day.
