REFINERY SHORTLIST PROCESS CONTINUES
Description
The Tourism Minister says calls by an Opposition Senator for the Government to scrap the process for selecting a preferred bidder to restart the oil refinery in Point-a-Pierre is all part of the UNC's playbook.
As the Opposition has raised concerns about two of companies on the short-list, the Minister says it’s all part of the Opposition's strategy to scandalise anyone showing interest in the refinery, or foreign direct investment in the local economy, in general.
Juhel Browne reports.
