Reece Kaye - Engage Brain/Deploy Clutch

Description
The examiner gave her a pass
She poured herself a large measure
After that day, she drove from her ass.
In one step from a moped to a Harley
How hard could it be, anyway?
Now she lays in a field full of barley
And four lanes of that damned motorway.
And fifteen people got caught in her wake
As her reckless debris filled the space
The drive of ambition, un-checked by a brake
Never realised, poetry isn’t a race.
