Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - A Night to Remember

My cream gown sweeps the floor like a broom
You look amazing, as you hand me a dozen black roses
He stares at us with jealousy screaming in his eyes
We walk, hands intertwined, under the gleaming disco ball
When we are done dancing, I lead you to the punch bowl
Just as I am getting drinks, I feel a cold, silver blade strike at my heart
Looking down, I notice that my white dress is now scarlet
Crying with despair, I seek revenge, but can no longer get it
Before I fall to the ground, I whisper three words, and three words only
“I love you, ” I said slowly to my boyfriend, about to be lifeless
“Oh my gosh! ” everybody started screaming
A moment later, they put yellow tape around me, reading “Crime Scene: Do Not Cross”
My body is being carried away, while my lover is screaming
Still having a pulse, does anyone even notice?
Knowing that he does, I feel my already red body turning even more ruby with anger
Envy is a terrible sin; it can lead to dreadful events
Just remember this for an eternity
